David Edward Williams also known professionally as David Walliams was born on August 20, 1971, in Banstead, Surrey, England. David Walliams is an English comedian, actor, best-selling author, and television presenter. David Walliams gained fame with his television show Little Britain with Matt Lucas on the BBC sketch comedy series and Come Fly With Me. Walliams has been a judge on the television talent show competition Britain’s Got Talent. Walliams is also a successful children’s book author.

David Williams was married to Dutch supermodel Lara Stone from 2010 to 2015. The couple dated for various months before he proposed to her with a £100,000 Tiffany engagement ring. The couple married in London in May 2010. The couple welcomed their first baby, a boy named Alfred, on May 6, 2013. David Walliams and Lara Stone split and divorced in 2015.

Williams grew up in Banstead, England. His mother was a lab technician and his father was an engineer for London Transport. Williams studied drama at the University of Bristol. Williams met comedy partner Matt Lucas while performing at the National Youth Theatre; both Williams and Lucas worked together and gained success with their television show Little Britain.
