Catriona Gray who represented the Philippines was crowned Miss Universe 2018. Contestants from 94 countries participated in this year’s pageant held in Bangkok, Thailand on 17 December 2018. Catriona Gray is 24 years old and was born and raised in Queensland, Australia.
Catriona’s father is a Scottish-born Australian and her mother is from the Philippines. Catriona moved to the Philippines when she was 18 and has been representing the Philippines since then. Catriona Gray’s dubbed the ‘lava walk’ for her killer runway walk; wore a sparkling red dress which was inspired by a volcano in the Philippines.
