Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor
Two days after welcoming their first child, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduced their son to the world. And few hours later, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they’ve named their first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Baby Sussex will be seventh in line to the throne, after Prince Harry. Prince Charles is first in line, followed by Prince William, then Prince William’s children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Meghan said “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing. I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy. He has the sweetest temperament, he’s really calm… he’s just been the dream.”
Prince Harry added “It’s great. Parenting is amazing. We’re just so thrilled to have our own bundle of joy and to spend precious time with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”
Royal Baby: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Welcome a Baby Boy
Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is over the moon as he shared the news of the arrival of his and wife Meghan Markle’s first born child. Their son was born on the 6th of May, 2019 and weighs 7lbs and 3oz. (3.26kg).
Prince Harry thanked everyone for their support during this very special time in their lives as they welcome their first baby boy. “I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy. Every father and parent will say your baby is absolutely amazing but this little thing is absolutely to die for. I’m over the moon.”
The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
The wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle was held on 19 May 2018 in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom. Markle arrived in a wedding gown from Givenchy’s creative director Clare Waight Keller, a British designer. Meanwhile, Prince Harry walked down Castle Hill to St George’s Chapel accompanied by his brother Prince William and best man, both wearing the frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals.
