SpaceX released a drone footage of a successful “starhopper” test flight in Boca Chica, Texas on August 27, 2019.

“One day Starship will land on the rusty sands of Mars.”
“Can’t believe it’s been 6 years since our first vertical landing!”
“Core body diameter is 9m/30ft.”
“Probably 18m for next gen system”
“Probably 2 to 3 months. We’re about to ship Raptor SN 10.”
“Aiming for 20km flight in Oct & orbit attempt shortly thereafter. Starship update will be on Sept 28th, anniversary of SpaceX reaching orbit. Starship Mk 1 will be fully assembled by that time.”
